Well, It has been a long year here at Savannah, Georgia. Winter was kind of harsh this year and Spring was way to heavy. After coming from a totally different country, Panama, it is really hard to be in a small place for too long.
I am really glad I am going to start my first quarter of Junior year in a totally new place. In a place I've never been before, Hong Kong. One of the things that I love the most is traveling. I like to travel to different places whenever I get the chance to do so because by that way I learn from new cultures, experiences, people, and simply every single aspect that each country has. It is like a way of enhancing your knowledge and opening up to new perspective and thoughts.
The classes I am going to take in Hong Kong are: Fashion, Planning & Control which is one of the hardest class under the Fashion Marketing & Management degree. I know! I was really scared at the beginning but now I am a little better; I know that with dedication and enthusiasm I will make it. Also, 20th Century and History of Fashion are the other two classes that I will be taking and which I am really excited about because I will have to write a lot and that will help me improve my writing skills.
Finally, I am more than glad to share that my favorite person here at college, Estefania Alvarez, is going to go with me to Hong Kong and be my roomate this coming fall quarter. Isn't that exciting? We were roomates in freshman year and friends since then and now we are going to be living together for three more months!
